There are many different terms and expressions in mannequin land that for the beginner can be a bit confusing. To help you with your choice, you should start at least by knowing what the mannequin is needed for. There are many different types that will be suitable for different projects and whilst this page will not substitute for first hand verbal advice, we hope at least it will give you something to be going on with.

Does the mannequins arms and legs move?
There are many different types of mannequins and in the case of most full bodied ones, both male and female, their arms and legs do not move and one would choose a style of mannequin to suit their purpose. For example a standing mannequin will not sit down and vice versa - unless you choose a flexible mannequin which can do almost anything apart from the washing up!

How long does delivery take?
We use an overnight courier service, so providing your mannequin is sitting in the warehouse and ready to go, the shortest time is within 24hrs! If your need is urgent and it's past courier o'clock (3pm) we can also deliver in person.

How do we organise collection after hiring mannequins?
Once you have finished with the mannequin and it is back in its box and sealed we do ask you to let us know by 10.30am. We can then, in most cases organise collection from anywhere within the UK that same day.

Mannequin Glossary:

Foot Peg - The metal rod that goes into the mannequins foot to help it stand up. Can be round or square.

Calf Fitting - Some, but not all mannequins can wear shoes by having an extra fitting for the metal stand which can be used instead of the foot peg.
